A little bit more about us.

At Little Dog Garden we know that small dogs are not small in personality! We seek to create a fun environment that provides space for small breed dogs to be themselves to the fullest. Our team is committed to having quality relationships with all of our clients that enrich their dogs’ lives as best we can by providing them with the patience, structure and love that they deserve.

When a dog attends Little Dog Garden on a weekly basis, they are given the opportunity to create a social community, participate in a variety of enrichment activities, and build their confidence in an environment outside of their home. Little Dog Garden’s indoor facilities have enough space for our pack to spread their legs, lots of structures for the pups to climb and explore, as well as cozy corners with blankets to curl up on for an afternoon nap. It’s the perfect place for a pup to call their home away from home. way-from-home!

Meet the team:

Tulaya
Owner

Tulaya started the Little Dog Garden after a decade of working hands-on with animals, always having a soft spot for big personalities in small animals. Her career journey has taken her to a variety of places including vet offices, animal shelters, and training under an animal behaviorist. Prior to opening the Little Dog Garden, Tulaya spent four years working with Play Doggie Daycare. Her love for the daycare dogs and their community of owners, inspired Tulaya to take over Play’s Capitol Hill location to begin building a community specifically for small breed dogs and their owners.

Morgan
Rufferee

Morgan has been working with Little Dog Garden for two years, and is at the heart of making Little Dog Garden so special. Morgan cares for each and every LDG pack member with the same love she provides her own two dogs, Lola and Millie. Before working with us, Morgan spent time working at other daycares while studying at UW. Morgan is also the leader behind our social media team!

Kayla
Rufferee

Kayla came all the way from California in order to join team LDG! With seven years of experience in dog daycares, Kayla has helped grow our team's skills. When she is not wrangling daycare dogs, Kayla can be found wrangling her home pack of two cats (Havok and Rogue) or walking her accessory loving big dog, Evelyn ! In addition to working with us, Kayla cat sits privately with speciality in senior kitties.

Part Time Team Members
Rufferee

We are lucky to keep the LDG team close knit and long term! We have a few part time team members that provide support to our full-time team by providing our dogs with excellent care. Our team members include people who have worked with us for three years, Seattle University students, and people who work in other aspects of the pet industry. The dogs always love when a new face arrives for the day!
